What
is the TIP Enterprise?
- The TIP Tunnel Enterprise
edition creates an encrypted anonymous internet connection (the
TIP Tunnel) between your computer and our network.
- The anonymous encrypted connection is
military strength using SSL (See next) tunneling.
- SSL is defined as Short for Secure
Sockets Layer, a protocol
developed by Netscape
for transmitting private documents via the Internet.
SSL uses a cryptographic
system that uses two keys
to encrypt
data - a public key known to everyone and a private or secret
key known only to the recipient of the message. Both Netscape
Navigator and Internet
Explorer support SSL.

is the TIP Tunnel?
The TIP Tunnel is the software that you download
that creates automatically an encrypted internet connection between

What is a VPN?
Short for virtual private network,
a network
that is constructed by using public wires to connect nodes. For
example, there are a number of systems that enable you to create
networks using the Internet
as the medium for transporting data. These systems use encryption
and other security
mechanisms to ensure that only authorized
users can access the network and that the data cannot be intercepted.
Explain Encryption to me
In short it is the translation of data
into a secret code. Encryption is the most effective way to achieve
data security.
To read an encrypted file,
you must have access to a secret key
or password
that enables you to decrypt
it. Unencrypted data is called plain
text ; encrypted data is referred to as cipher
text.
There are two main types of encryption: asymmetric encryption (also
called public-key
encryption) and symmetric
encryption.
BUT you don't have to worry about it because we have done it for
you.

Yes. You will be connected to a server which is protected by a secure

How do I sign up?
Easy just click here
and place in a preferred user name which must be less than 16
characters long. (Note that the longer the user name the better
for security). Then choose the email address you desire. Check
the preferred payment method.

How do I connect to the TIP
Tunnel?
Once your payment is confirmed you will be given a link by email
where you can download the TIP Tunnel software. You may
be prompted to also download a program called dotnetfx.
This is a Microsoft software program enabling you to view your
TIP Tunnel program using the very latest software technology.
What about VoIP is that anonymous?
Yes your VoIP connection such as SKYPE is anonymous using the
TIP Tunnel VPN.
What is VoIP?
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is a technology that allows
you to make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection
instead of a regular (or analog) phone line. Some services using
VoIP may only allow you to call other people using the same service,
but others may allow you to call anyone who has a telephone number
- including local, long distance, mobile, and international numbers.
Also, while some services only work over your computer or a special
VoIP phone, other services allow you to use a traditional phone
through an adaptor.

I have paid
for my subscription, what do I do now?
You will receive an email with a link to download the TIP tunnel
software. Click on the link and follow the prompts. Save the TIP
tunnel to your computer and then click RUN.
OR go to your members area and click on the TIP Tunnel Client
link and download the TIP Client program and then click on the
link TIP Tunnel VPN to download the VPNsoftware.
Ok there is a shortcut on
my desktop showing Total Internet Privacy what do I do next?
Each time you connect to the internet, click on this desktop icon
and the TIP Tunnel will connect you automatically to our servers.
How can I check it is working
properly?
Look at the bottom of your screen and you will see a small icon
(a lock) on the task bar, right click on this icon click on Advanced
and ensure the TIP Tunnel is ticked.
How do I use the free internet
tools?
Right click on the icon (lock) on your bottom task bar and go
to Advanced then click on Cover my tracks.

Instructions for
Downloading and Installing the .NET Framework |

Download Instructions
This should occur automatically when you
download the TIP Client software, however, if you have a problem
here is how you do it manually.
Step One
Click
here to download the file from Microsoft.
Step Two
CLICK SAVE
It doesn't matter where you decide to save the file, as long as
you don't forget where you chose. Somewhere like "My Documents"
will do fine. When you press "Save" the download begins.
Step Three
WAIT, it is a large file...
Step Four
When the file has downloaded, you need to double-click on it to
begin the installation. When you do, you are asked to confirm
that you want to install the framework.
After you say yes to this, a licence agreement will appear.
Select the "I agree" option and press "Install"
to begin the installation.
Step Five
When the installation is complete you will be able to run any
programs written for the .NET Framework. You don't need to do
any more. The .NET Framework is now present on your computer for
the benefit of any .NET programs that want to use it.
If you are worried about space on your computer, it is now OK
to delete the file "dotnetfx.exe", as the files it contains
have now been unpacked and installed.

What is the TIP Vault?
The TIP Vault is a FREE tool accessible from
your members area. You can upload files and zipped folders to this
area and password protect them. You can then create a unique link
which can be copied and sent to a single recipient by email. For
multiple recipients simply create multiple unique links. You can
have these unique links remain active for one day or more. Your
files are encrypted and totally secured from any cyber intervention
and prying eyes. The best way to send files safely and anonymously
over the internet.
How do I Access the TIP Vault?
Easy. All you do is log into your Members area and click on
the TIP Vault link on the menu bar to the left hand side.
How do I Use the TIP Vault?
Upload a file or zipped folder. Create a password
(if you want). Then create a unique link. State how many days you
want the link to be valid for. Then right click on that link and
copy it. Send the link to the recipient. They paste the link into
their browser and will be prompted to save the file. They then unzip
it and are prompted for the password. Safe, anonymous, encrypted
and only you and the recipient know about the file transfer.
What is my FREE Email address?
We offer you access to your very own FREE
anonymous email address. Your IP address and details are secured
and the origins of the email cannot be traced.You are secure and
anonymous.You can choose your email address in the signup process
or in the members area. Your email address will be .....@tiptunnel.com

How do I use my FREE Email Account?
Just login to your members area and click
on the TIP Email link on the menu. Select your desired email address
name such as 'secure at tiptunnel.com' and within approximately
30 minutes your free account with 10Mb of storage will be ready
to use. See the instructions in the Members area on how to access
your account. Your login will be 'secure at tiptunnel.com' and
your TIP password is also your email password.
What is TIP Domains?
TIP Domains is an anonymous domain name registration
service. Go to www.tipdomainnames.com
and send us an email. We will register your domain name securly
and anonymously. No reference will be made to you or your company
in the whois details.
What is TIP Hosting?
TIP Hosting is an anonymous hosting service.
Go to www.tipdomainnames.com
and send us an email. We will host your domain name anonymously
for you.
How Much Does it Cost?
$40.00USD to register a domain name and $400.00USD
